Joongho Choi studio performed the branding and space design with Comquat Company’s second brand Loquat. Loquat coffee is less than 1.6 kilometers from the hectic Figueroa and has opened a store at an ice cream place that has run for many years historically. The store sign remains to respect the history and the direction of the space is set by applying materials and colors that contrast with maintaining former traces. Designed to ease coffee conversations between customer and employee as the space is confined. The minimum pieces of furniture, bars, and shelves needed are designed to stand out.
